I’m not a very groovy person, but … a Karmic+ truth has revealed itself! OK, this truth has actually been a journey, but it finally sank through my thick skull so I’m passing it along (lucky you). Keep the heart, the head and the lens focused on what’s in front of you. The session prior to the one below was a tough shoot due to tense family dynamics, but we stuck it through and got great portraits. No time for my usual quick break to clear my head and recharge, but as I’ve discovered repeatedly in this career, the very act that had just worn me out was now completely rejuvenating. This family was all about love and friendship. The vibe between them was relaxed, playful and happy. As I soaked that up, it came right back out through the lens.
